Coming from Toronto, Canada, R+A got married last December in the Casa de Campo resort in the Dominican Republic. To kickstart their festivities they hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for their closest family and friends at a gorgeous private villa in the Casa de Campo neighborhood of Punta Aguila. With stunning modern architecture and the Caribbean sea right in front, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful canvas to make this design come to life. We went for a neutral palette and minimal aesthetic, with the intention of building up the designs as the celebrations progress, and keep all guests wanting for more! The rehearsal dinner aesthetic presented itself as the perfect opposition to the Welcome Party. The latter happened right the next day with a theme of “The Brighter the Better” for all guests in attendance. This theme matched perfectly the energetic, fun, positive and cheerful personality of the groom’s family, who hosted this event. This was an incredible way to have two back to back events in the same space with such different concepts. We hope you enjoy the imagery below captured by the talented team of 515 Photo Co.
