Weddings
Megan is without a doubt one of the sweetest brides I have ever worked with. From day one I was 100% convinced that we were the right match for each other, as every single aesthetic indication she gave me was what I constantly dream of for our weddings. And on top of it all, she demonstrated a full trust in me all throughout the planning journey, and that always adds on an extra layer of creativity, enthusiasm and overall joy for me as I put every ounce of my being into the project. I am forever grateful to have been their chosen gal! But enough about how I felt…. 🙂
Megan and Matt met through mutual friends at a house party and they spent over 4 years together before getting married. Residing in NJ they wanted a wedding that felt somewhat local but provided a gorgeous outdoor space that you don’t necessarily have in the heart of the city. Hence… Hamilton Farm Golf Club. When we toured the venue, one of the things that I loved the most was that we had several different options for Ceremony and Cocktail Hour and they were all AMAZING! (I love a venue with options!) And that the ballroom for reception had everything I particularly want in a ballroom; that is: tons and tons and tons of natural light access courtesy of the many windows, merged with white walls and the delicate and neutral carpet. I immediately knew that I was not going to have to fight the room to create the romantic and relaxed vibe in soft colors that they wanted.
With Megan’s personality being easy going, bubbly and quite artistic and with her relationship with Matt being grounded on how supportive they are of each other and how relaxing it all feels, we definitely wanted to bring a bit of all of that into the overall vibe of the day. And Megan had in mind the perfect palette for it: soft blues, pinks, peach and sage (summer combo perfection!) With the tremendous contributions of Amanda of Twisted Willow Flowers, with flowers that knocked it out of the park, and with Christy Nicole behind the lenses, the results were just what happy wedding dreams are made of. Hope you enjoy the gallery!
