Last year, after postponing their wedding three times, we had the tremendous pleasure of getting A+C down the aisle in gorgeous Pacifico Beach Club in Costa Rica.

After their wedding, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to visit some of the best wedding venues and hotels in the area. The blogpost below summarizes (in gorgeous images by Asia Pimentel) the wonderful experiences we had at Andaz Costa Rica Peninsula Papagayo, the Four Seasons Costa Rica, Casa Chameleon in Las Catalinas and Mangroove Autograph Collection.

ANDAZ

Andaz was absolutely stunning. Loved the pool, the beach, the rooms, the event areas, the cuisine, the cocktails. EVERYTHING! I can’t wait to be back for an event and arguably more important so I can eat again the best cilantro rice of my LIFE!

FOUR SEASONS

Outside: the lush, romantic landscape of Peninsula Papagayo, edged with two golden-sand beaches facing calm Culebra Bay and the open Pacific. Two beaches, two sides, in one! Inside: innovative, organic design inspired by our local nature and culture. We were greeted with a rum tasting, then to find the perfect mojitos en our room! Our stay included not only experiencing all the hotel has to offer, but also touring many of the different private villas in the property. Our jaws dropped more times that we can count.

A note on weddings: This hotel we loved, in particular, for small scale weddings of 75 pax or less, so that more spaces are viable to the events.

CASA CHAMALEON

Casa Chameleon, surrounded by a jungle, with views of the sea from the private rooms built in the cliffs, we fell in love with this property. Great for intimate events or for Honeymoons, we loved their hospitality and the wonderful food at Sentido Norte. We immediately imagined rehearsal dinners and welcome parties at that perfect heavenly spot!

MANGROOVE

With more than 8,000 square feet of beach and panoramic views, this hotel had the best spaces for large weddings. The garden by the beach present the perfect backdrop for ceremonies, while the walled garden on the other side of the hotel have a wide open floorplan for an outside reception.
