Some weddings allow us to dream big, and Allie & Juan’s was exactly that. Their vision blended modern city vibes with lush tropical elements, creating a wedding full of personality, texture, and contrast.

The ceremony took place in Altos de Chavon’s St Stanislaus Church, a setting inspired by an old Mediterranean village, so we kept the design elegant and timeless.

For the reception, we took things to the next level. Hosted in a private oceanfront villa, we spent over a week transforming the space. One of the biggest challenges—and highlights—was covering the pool to extend the seating area seamlessly, making it appear as if the pool had never been there. Overhead, a stunning clear roof structure supported by greenery and metal cage-like covers framed the space, blending organic nature with a modern design.

We played with different materials—wood, fabric, metal, marble, mirrors—to create depth and richness in every corner. Tables featured an eclectic mix of linens, surfaces, chairs, and tableware, making each setup feel unique yet cohesive.

Since Allie & Juan love both NYC’s energy and the Caribbean’s natural beauty, we brought those worlds together. Tropical gardens blended into the villa’s existing vegetation, while modern touches like disco lights and custom structures (including a bold red bar and striking stage elements) added an urban edge.

The result? A wedding that was as dynamic, stylish, and unforgettable as the couple themselves.
