D+S brought all their families and friends from the NYC area to celebrate with them in tropical paradise. They selected Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic as their destination, and kicked off the wedding festivities with an intimate Rehearsal Dinner for family and their closest friends in Casa del Rio, in Altos de Chavón. A view of the Chavon river and the Dominican jungle served as the most perfect backdrop.

When D let us know she wanted a fun and bright palette for this day, our hearts sang! All guests were asked to wear white, which made all the details in shades of reds and pinks pop up against all the neutrality.

For this evening, guests enjoyed a three coursed plated dinner, were serenaded by guitarist / singer Khris Joe and heard the sweetest and funniest things from those giving speeches. The night ended with Cocktails in one of the hotel bars, where they greeted all the rest of the guests.

A few favorite of ours: the flowers, our bride’s impecable sense of fashion with her Oscar de La Renta and Sleepers dresses for that night, and how Jake Anderson captured it all so masterfully!
