Sanctuary Cap Cana Multicultural Wedding

Weddings

Our couple J+A chose Sanctuary Adults-Only Resort in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, as their wedding location, and we were tremendously supportive of this choice. We love this resort because not only it offers amazing accommodations and amenities for the guests and it’s just about 15 minutes away from the airport, but also because it gives us really lovely venues for our couples’ events. And especially in this case, where the festivities where on the intimate-side. Our favorite thing is the so-called “Island”. Our couple reserved the Island Suite so we could have the Ceremony at the gorgeous spot, which is fully private, you see on the images below. From there, guests went upstairs to the “Castle” pool area to enjoy Cocktail Hour with the most magical of views, while our couple enjoyed some portraits time during the golden hour! Finally, reception was in the Blue Marlin restaurant, where guests enjoyed dinner and dancing accompanied by the Caribbean breeze. Blending in the bride’s American/Dominican cultural elements with the Groom’s Scottish background, everything was majestically captured by New Orleans’ based photographer Lance Nicoll, including Mexican florist’ Sofia Basave of Casa de Lirio’s gorgeous creations!
