Nicole and Jason got married this past February in one of our favorite venues on earth: Casa de Campo, in the Dominican Republic. And as we’ve said in the past, the reason why we love this venue so much is because no wedding there looks the same due to the plethora of great venue options that abound. It’s rare to ever have two clients choose the same venue combination for the different parts of the day, always making it fun and fresh for us as designers. Nicole and Jason live in Connecticut but Jason grew up traveling to the DR every year for Summer Camp in Casa de Campo. When he started dating Nicole, he took her there for vacation, and it became evident to both of them that such gorgeous spot would be the chosen one for their nuptials!
This gallery showcases their getting ready processes at two private villas in the resort, their First Look portraits in Mediterranean-village replica of Altos de Chavón, Ceremony in the Minitas Beach and Reception under a clear tent in a gorgeous oceanfront private villa. They wanted to provide a relaxed, yet elegant (with a dash of tropical) atmosphere for their guests, and I wish you were all there to live this. It was such a loving and fun day. Not even the presence of President Clinton in a villa next door, and the security trying to get us to lower the music could get us down. A wedding permit is a wedding permit, Mr. President (hahaha). So the party went on for the kindest clients and their wonderful families and friends.
