Weddings
While they call Toronto home, our couple R+A chose the stunning Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic as the backdrop for their destination wedding, inviting their closest family and friends to join them in this tropical paradise.
The day began at a private waterfront villa in the exclusive Punta Aguila neighborhood, where R + A shared their first look and captured beautiful pre-ceremony portraits with their immediate family and wedding party. This villa, where they also hosted their rehearsal dinner and welcome party (which you can read all about in our previous blog post), served as the ideal setting to kick off their celebrations in style.
After the portraits, the entire group made their way to Altos de Chavón, a picturesque area within Casa de Campo designed to mirror a charming Mediterranean village. With its cobblestone streets and timeless architecture, it was the perfect location for their ceremony, followed by cocktails and an elegant reception. The décor was classic and neutral. The bride’s love for baby’s breath and perfectly rounded floral arrangements permeated throughout all the decor.
Although a dramatic storm hit just as the reception began, we were prepared with a large, clear-roofed tent that allowed the festivities to continue even under the rain. The couple had flown in an incredible band from Toronto (INSERT BAND NAME), and we were so thrilled that, under the protection of our clear tent, they could deliver the entertainment of a lifetime to R + A and their guests.
Thanks to the talented 515 Photo Co team, we have these stunning images to remember this day by—filled with love, laughter, and the kind of magic that only a destination wedding can offer. We’re so excited to share the beautiful moments of R + A’s celebration with you!
