The second event from D+S’s destination wedding weekend happened at Minitas Beach Club in Casa de Campo Dominican Republic. The inspiration for this event was a mix of subtle desert / burning man vibes, meeting the tropical flare that comes naturally from being in a Dominican Republic gorgeous beach front space.

Around the deck, guests were first entertained by lounge artist Nikola Santiago as they entered and enjoyed passed appetizers and welcome drinks. Later in the night a paella and an upscale BBQ stations made up for the perfect dinner for this cocktail style reception. Guests were able to combat the heat (although it was a very pleasant evening) with gelatos and other cold mini desserts.

Once it was time to move the party to the beach area, guests were surprised with a fire blower show, and then DJ Vikkas Sapra, from NYC, started the most fantastic beats that drove everyone to the sand!

It was no time before guests were dancing on top of tables and having the time of their lives. The night ended with fireworks and guests getting their feet (and more) in the Caribbean sea waters!

A night for the books, no doubt!
